REGULATION
Contest: open to all cartoonists
Theme:
A) Braila - a multi-ethnic province (in Braila’s region cohabit beside Romanians the following ethnic communities: Bulgarians, Greeks, Italians, Jews, Lipovenians, Roms, Tatars and Turks).
B) Free.
Entries: max. 5.
The works in original must be accompanied by the author's biography.
Size: A4 (210 x 297 mm) - A3 (297 x 420 mm).
Technique: free.
Deadline: November 20th, 2007
Prizes: Great Prize – 1000 €; First Prize – 800 €; Second Prize – 500 €; Third Prize – 300 €; 3 Special Prizes – 200 € (each).
Members of jury: Tudor Octavian – art critic, Mihai Stanescu – cartoonist, Leonte Nastase – cartoonist, Costel Patrascan - cartoonist.
Exhibition: December 8th, 2007
Catalogue: each selected artist will receive a copy.
Remark: the works will not be returned, they will remain the property of The County Center for Preservation and Promotion of Traditional Culture Braila.
