Woman: an emblematic figure of society, inspire both respect and humor. In a world where its strength is often underestimated, graphic humor emerges as a powerful tool to challenge stereotypes, celebrate achievements and highlight gender issues in an insightful and provocative way.
Our pencils and brushes are weapons of equality, transforming women's struggles into humor that pokes at conscience and provokes reflection. From everyday challenges to major battles for rights, graphic humor captures the essence of the female experience with a unique blend of irony, sarcasm and tenderness.
Through our drawings, we honor women as protagonists of their own stories, challenging social norms and dismantling prejudices with a smile on their faces. May each stroke be an ode to the courage, resilience and diversity that make women an inexhaustible source of inspiration and humor.

15th Biennial International Cartoon Contest, Hlohovec 2024, Slovakia

Dear friends, it's here. 15th year of the Fraštacký tŕň is announced.
April 1st is a day of jokes and fun. And on this cheerful day every other year the civic association EXLIBRIS AD PERSONAM HLOHOVEC in cooperation with the Homeland museum in Hlohovec announces international cartoon contest Fraštacký tŕň.
For the 15th year of the contest we have chosen the topic PLASTICS. Quo vadis, homine?
Everywhere you look, plastics surrounds you. You have plastics at home, plastics are in landfills, plastics are in rivers and in the sea. Do you buy canned tuna? The plastic that you did not sort slowly returns to your table in microparticles. How do cartoonists deal with this ecological threat? And what solution will they offer through their contest works? So, dear cartoonists, the time has come to think about this serious topic and send your idea, transformed into a work of art, to Hlohovec. Contest conditions you can find here:
