THE 5TH INTERNATIONAL DIOGENES OF SINOP

CARTOON COMPETITION ON

“REPUBLIC AND DEMOCRACY”

HAS CONCLUDED

The 5th International Diogenes of Sinop Cartoon Competition on the theme of “Republic and Democracy,” organized by the Sinop Writers, Poets and Artists Association with the support of Sinop Municipality, has concluded.

The Selection Committee, consisting of writer Tufan Bilgili (Türkiye), Mayor of Sinop Metin Gürbüz (Türkiye), and cartoonists Adnan Taç (Türkiye), Altan Özeskici (Türkiye), Aşkın Ayrancıoğlu (Türkiye), Erhan Yaşar Babalık (Türkiye), Marian Avramescu (Romania), Michel Moro Gomez (Cuba), and Musa Keklik (Türkiye), evaluated 967 works by 269 artists from 49 countries.

“We sincerely thank all the artists from around the world who participated in our competition with their valuable works, exploring the concepts of Republic and Democracy through the principles of freedom, equality, justice, human rights, and the rule of law, and contributing through their art to critical thought, dialogue, and a more democratic future.”
