International Competition in Caricature Drawings, Vevkul 2015, R. MACEDONIA

In order to our 30th anniversary of the International Cultural and scientific Manifestation „Pecalbarski denovi“; this manifestation and „Vevecul 2015“ Vevcani’s cultural summer manifestation are signing an INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION IN CARICATURE DRAWINGS themed „Floodings, floodings…“
1. The right to participate to this competition have all those who draw caricatures and have a good sense of humor and satire;
2. The format and the number of drawings from one author is unlimited and it is decided by the author itself.
3. A jury will be made out of three members and the same jury will assign three awards:
– first prize – golden mask
– second prize – silver mask
– third prize – bronze mask.
The winners of the awards will also recieve a passport of the Karnival Republic of Vevchani and other presents.
4. From the awarded and selected drawings a show will be organized ( in the summer of 2015) in Vevcani.
5. The caricatures should be sent at the following address:

6. The competition is open by the ending date of 25th of December 2014.

C O N T E S T
Theme :
C A R N I V A L – E R O T I C A
Aphorism:
• In this category each author can participate with maximum of 10 aphorisms, printed in three copies, completed with code and particulars about the author, and set in sealed envelope.
• The authors are allowed to participate with more works, each as group of 10(ten) aphorisms and marked with particular code.
Caricature:
• In this category, the authors can participate and send 3 caricatures, maximum.
The technique is on their own choice, and dimensions A/4.
• Particulars about the authors should be written at the back side of the work.
Contest due date:
The works will be accepted up to: January 16,2015, at latest.
Awards:
• Three main prizes will be awarded : Golden, Silver and Bronze Plaque.
• The Organizer retains the right to award some additional prizes.

Winners in the 26th Olense Kartoenale 2014 with theme "Cows", Belgium

The top prize in the theme of 'cows' went to Paolo Dalponte from Italy (Top). On Friday, November 14th, the ceremony took place and the Italian cartoonist took his prize in person. The prize of Amnesty International in the theme 'right to education' was Esmaeil Babaei from Iran.
The other winners in the adult category are:
Second prize 'copper pot': Negin Naghiyeh (Iran);
Third prize 'the pot': Marzieh Rezaei (Iran);
Fourth prize 'Inkwell': Anon Anindito (Indonesia);
Fifth prize 'the lekkerbekpot': Slawomir Makal (Poland);
Prize of city Bialogard: Grzegorz Szumowski (Poland).
In the youth category, the first prize went to Hu Yang from the Netherlands. The other winners in this category are:
Second prize: Fanyu Kong (China);
Third prize: Chong Wang Hao (China);
Fourth prize: Zhi Yu Yang (China).
The first milestone of digitization was taken last year and this year was further put to shine. No less than 515 cartoonists from 59 countries sent their cartoons. In total, this is good for 1,357 entries.
Exhibition and catalog
The exhibition at the Olen Kartoenale is on until 31 December in the council chamber during opening hours of the town hall.
The winning cartoons and many other entries are compiled in a beautiful color catalog. This catalog is for sale for 12 euros at the reception of the town and the service leisure.
