Dear Artists and Cartoonists, 

Greetings from the Secretariat of the 2025 Sejong International Cartoon Contest (SICACO)! 

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our annual contest and invite talented artists like you from all over the world to share your unique perspectives through the art of cartoons. 

This year, we delve into the pressing theme of "AI and Information Security," exploring the opportunities and challenges of our rapidly evolving digital world. 

Contest Overview 

• Event: 2025 Sejong International Cartoon Contest (SICACO 2025) 

• Theme: AI and Information Security 

• Prizes 

Grand Prize (Mayor of Sejong City Award): 1 winner, $1,500 + Certificate of Award 

Gold Prize: 1 winner, $1,000 + Certificate of Award 

Silver Prize (Director of Sejong Technopark Award): 1 winner, $750 + Certificate of Award 

Bronze Prize: 2 winners, $500 each + Certificate of Award 

Honorable Mentions: Multiple winners, Certificate of Award 

• Important Notes 

The prize money is based on USD. The final amount paid may vary depending on the exchange rate at the time of the announcement. Any taxes or fees related to the prize money are the sole responsibility of the winner. 

• Eligibility: Open to all artists worldwide, regardless of age or nationality. 

• Submission Period: July 16 (Wed) – September 3 (Wed), 2025, by 18:00 KST (Korea Standard Time). 

Submission Guidelines 

• Category: 

Single-panel cartoon (Humorous or satirical) 

• Format: 

A3 size (297x420mm) or smaller. JPG file, 300 dpi or higher. 

• Entries: 

Up to 3 works per person. Both hand-drawn (scanned) and digital works are accepted. 

• Required Documents: 

1. Completed Application Form(attached file) 

2. Your Artwork File(s)
