The organizer of the event is OSTEN Skopje, Republic of Macedonia
The selected works will be appraised by an international jury
The opening ceremony and announcement of awards will take place on the 30st May 2013 at the OSTEN Gallery in Skopje
PROPOSITIONS FOR APPLICATION
Forms of expression of Submitted Artwork – cartoon, satiric drawing and/or comics*
*For the applicants competing in comics: up to one panel of non-linguistic strip with satiric/humoristic content

Application criteria
• The author may send several artwork
• Application Form for registering artwork shell be completed in one of the following ways:
– The Form can be filled out electronically at the official web site of OSTEN (artwork submitted electronically shall be attached to the Form)
– The Form can be shared with other interested parties for participation and be emailed (the Form shell be accompanied by digital images of the artworks and a author's short CV)
– The Form can be downloaded from the website of OSTEN and upon completion be sent via the post office accompanied by artwork (author's short CV is preferable)
• Artwork format:
A4 (21,0 x 29,7cm.) or A3 (29,7 x 42,0cm.)
(300 dpi resolution, jpg. format)
• By completion of the Application Form, the applicant shall consens to confer the artwork copy right to OSTEN. The author shall agree to use, exposure, study and publishing of his/her artwork by the organizer without limitation to the type of media, time schedule or publication setting.
• Each Application Form not fully completed shall not be eligible for the following round

Process of selection and jury
• All adequately applied artwork shall qualify for the preliminary selection
• Preliminary selection of received artwork shall be conducted by a board nominated by the organizer
• One week following the deadline for application, the organizer shall inform the short-listed authors to send their original artwork to the address of OSTEN
• The organizer is not responsible for any damages during the transport of artwork
• The short-listed originals of artwork received the latest of 28th February 2013, shall be considered nominees for awards by the international jury.
Disclosure
• All short-listed artwork is represented in the Catalogue
• All represented artists shall receive a free-of-charge copy of the Catalogue sent by post
• The organizer will cover the accommodation expenses for first prize winners for the opening and award ceremony in Macedonia.
