WORLD PEACE WITH TRUMP!!!???
Dear cartoonist,
It goes without saying that the new president of the United States does not mean progress for world peace. The genocide in Gaza will continue to be supported, the lives of migrants in the US will not improve, how the war in Ukraine will be resolved in 1 day remains unclear and the threat of war in Taiwan and against China will not diminish.
HUMORRATATATA does not find this funny and continues to emphasize
THE MADNESS OF WAR IN CARTOONS”.
During the major exhibition in May 2025, we already anticipate this sub-theme:
WORLD PEACE WITH TRUMP!!!???
We are now launching a call to cartoonists worldwide to submit their cartoon vision on our theme after what has now happened in the US. We look forward to a stream of new cartoons. For submissions all information on how to submit can be found here. If you have any questions or comments, please let us know at info@cartoontt.org
FYI: So far, more than 80 cartoonists worldwide have submitted more than 300 cartoons.
Looking forward to your response!
Many greetings from the cartoontt team

44th Int. Nasreddin Hodja Cartoon Contest 2024 Public Statement Regarding the Results

Sajad Rafeei – Iran (2015)

Mojmir Mihatov – Croatia (Cancelled)

44th International Nasreddin Hodja Cartoon Contest Public Statement Regarding the Results:
In the 44th International Nasreddin Hodja Cartoon Contest, which has been organized for 44 years without interruption and has attracted great interest worldwide, it has been determined that the cartoon awarded the grand prize bears a great similarity to a work previously published by another artist. Since this situation is incompatible with the basic principles and ethical values of the competition, the  prize of the relevant artist has been canceled.
We apologize to the art community and the public for this situation.
In line with this development, the work ranked second in the competition has been deemed worthy of the grand prize. The other ranked works will be awarded in the same order.
Until today, the aim of our contest has been to support the art of cartooning, to build a bridge between the artists of the world, and to contribute to peace and friendship through the critical power of the art of cartooning. We will continue our work in this direction.
With our deepest regards
