Catalog Zagreb 2016, 21st International Cartoon Exhibition, Croatia
Received yesterday the new catalog 21st International Cartoon Exhibition, Zagreb 2016, Croatia. The theme is "Healthy Lifestyle" and the winners already announced in May. 19x19 cm in size, the 96 pages catalog is half in color and half b&w. The longed-for preface is written by one of the world-famous Croatian cartoonists, Srećko Puntarić - Felix. He also provided some treatment against smoking in his artistic style. You can read these on pages 4-5 of the catalog in PDF here.
The recent edition has seen the arrival of 700 works of 282 authors from 59 countries. From Turkey are included the works of four cartoonists in the catalog: Erdogan Basol, Oktay Bingol, Musa Gumus, and Kemal Ozyurt.
Many thanks to HDK for sending me this humorous book of art. More about the event on HDK.
