Cartoon Section: Funniest Cartoon
(About master Issa Gholipour: Issa Gholipour was born in the village of Salakh, located in central part of the city of Bojnurd, on 1942. He began to learn Dotar from his father, Soleyman Bakhshi, when he was 15 and by the age of 16 he became a skilled singer and musician. He participated in various national and international festivals. The praise and honor he earned was a sign of his hard work and deep interest in sharing the North Khorasan Province folk music. In the heart of Haj Issa there is a valuable treasure of stories and traditional songs that anyone who is passionate about it, can feel it.)
Terms and conditions:
-The competition is open to all amateur and professional cartoonists.
-Each artist can submit up to 6 works.( In each section)
-There is no limit on the techniques you can use.
-Artworks must not be larger than A3 paper.
-Artworks format must be “JPG” with 300 DPI resolution and the size of each artwork must not exceed more than 2 megabytes.
-Selected artworks will be included in the festival catalog.
(Festival catalog will be published as a downloadable PDF file in the Cartoonmag.com website and if we publish the print edition of the catalog,a copy will be sent to all participants.)
-Along with the artworks you must also send this information: full name, mobile number,exact mailing address, biography and a photo of the artist. (All included in a word document).
-The Organizer reserves the right to publish the submitted artworks in the internet and press by artist’s name.
Awards:
First Prize winner in each Section: Exquisite Persian handicraft, statue and honorary diploma.
Second Prize winner in each Section: Exquisite Persian handicraft, statue and honorary diploma.
Third Prize winner in each Section: Exquisite Persian handicraft, statue and honorary diploma.
3rd Special Prize in each Section: honorary diploma.

NOTIFICATION of DICACO 2013 CONTEST, SOUTH KOREA
Our committee noticed in postponning constest deadline of one more months for exhibitions in main city, Daejeon & new capital city, Sejong. Please publish it your cartoonists and mass communication. We hope many cartoonists take part in my DICACO 2013 contest.
1.This year's contest comprises a Thema section (titled Unisex Mode )
2.The size of works should be smaller than 297 mm × 420 mm.
3.Any color, free style, and unlimited items.
4.Each entrant should provide title, name, age, address, career, e-mail, and telephone number on reverse.
5.The deadline for entry of original works is Jun. 30, 2013.
6.Entries should be addressed to the Daejeon Int'l Cartoon Institute.
7.The most creative cartoon will win the Grand prize of ＄3,000, Gold prize of ＄1,000, Silver prize of ＄500, Bronze prize of ＄300, selected works will be awarded.
8.Exhibit the cartoons at the Sejong & Daejeon Gallery in Nov. 2013.
9.Submitted cartoons will not be returned, but exhibited forever in Korean public halls, art galleries, & museums.
10.Your cartoon may be used for promotional purposes : cards, posters, catalogs, magazine, books and web etc.

19th International Cartoon Humour Competition GOLDEN KEG 2013, Slovakia
Topic: BEER
On Monday, 1st April 2013, an exhibition of the best competing works, a festive announcement of the results and the handing of prizes to the most successful authors of the 19th competition in accordance with the Jury´s decision will take place as follows:
GRAND PRIZE (Grand Prix) Golden Keg and 500 €
1st Prize Small GOLDEN KEG and 200 €
2nd Prize Small GOLDEN KEG and 150 €
3rd Prize Small Golden KEG and 100 €
The Competition Jury reserves the right not to grant any of the prizes or to grant other special prizes.
The organisers will accept for the competition all works that will be delivered at the address of the Šarišská gallery in Prešov by 25th February 2013.
The organisers of the competition reserve the right to publish selected works in promotional materials and to re-install the exhibition, while each competitor will receive a competition catalogue.
Competition rules:
1.Each author can send at maximum five original works, including graphic techniques.
2.The competition is open to anybody and everybody, and it is not restricted in terms of artistic design methods.
3.The formats of the works should not exceed the A4 dimensions.
4.The competition is non-anonymous. Each work should be signed on the reverse and bear the author´s full address.
5.The rewarded works will become property of the BEER GALLERY in Prešov.

9th International 7-77 Cartoon Competition 2013, Turkey
* The international 7-77 Cartoon Competition will be organized under the 19th International Ankara Cartoon Festival. The aim of the competition is to make children familiar with the art of cartooning and to contribute the development of sensitivity towards humour by enriching their world with the help of cartoons you will draw.
* All proffessional and amateur cartoonists will be welcomed to join in by drawing cartoons for children.
* Cartoons can be drawn in black-white or colourful using any technique in either A4 or A3 size.
* Cartoonists can join in the competition with an original cartoon that can be understood by children.
* Competitors must write their names, surnames and addresses on the back of their cartoons.
* The deadline for the competition is February 1st, 2013.
* Cartoons should be sent to the following address:

* The sole prize of the competition is the 7-77 PRIZE (1000 €) and the institutions’ commemorative plates.

* The winner of the competition will be invited to Ankara from April 19th to 21th, 2013 as a guest for the activities to be held during the 19th International Ankara Cartoon Festival and will receive the award at the opening of the exhibition.
* The International 7-77 Cartoon Competition catalogue and the certificate will be sent to those competitors whose cartoons were chosen by the jury and were printed in the catalogue.
* Cartoons will not be sent back and all rights will be reserved by the Cartoon Foundation.
* International 7-77 Cartoon Competition exhibition will be opened in various cities of Turkey and abroad.
