The theme of the 26th International Editorial Cartoon Competition is:
Times are tough
In his second mandate, Donald Trump has enriched his family business, declared war on science and education, punished journalists, governed by intimidation, threatened allies, undermined elections and treated constitutional limits as optional.
Democracy wanes while people wait for the next outrage, the next court ruling, the next election, the next someone else to fix it.
