In Surgut Art Museum held a press conference dedicated to the results and the announcement of winners of the International Forum of Visual Humour KARIKATURUM 8.

Theme: The Power of Life

The Surgut Fine Arts Museum in the International Forum of Visual Humour KARIKATURUM 8, 162 artists from 37 countries sent 555 works. From 15 to 17 May 2015 by the International Jury of the Forum was held the eighth selection of the best entries, and at the final press conference were named winners:

Is the Museum of Caricature in Warsaw, Poland, being liquidated by the City Hall?

Officials from the Warsaw City Hall decided to liquidate the Museum of Caricature in Warsaw. They want the caricature museum to be part of the Museum of Warsaw. It is acting to the detriment of culture in Warsaw, Poland, and Europe. There is no substantive evidence for such a connection. Let us do everything to defend the Caricature Museum, which is one of the most original cultural institutions in Europe. Say "no" to thoughtlessness. PARTICIPATION
The organizer of 11th International festival of cartoon Solin 2015 is the city Solin.
The festival is opened for everyone regardless of nationality, age, sex, or profesion.

1. All entries must be original cartoons. Framed works, also, will not be accepted.
2. Entries can be either black and white or colored.
3. There should be the name, surname and the address on the reverse side of cartoons.

5. Maximum size of entries is A3 format (297 mm x 420 mm)

The organizer reserves the right to reproduce the works sent to the festival, Solin 2015, as the advertising material without being obliged to pay a fee to an author whose work may be used. The prize-winning works become property of the organizer.
