After all, Javad Takjoo was second and there was another honorable mention for Jamal Rahmati. Third place went to Luka Lagator from Montenegro. This year's theme was 'The Future of Mobility: On the way to Cartopia'. The winners themselves received their prize on Saturday during the festive award ceremony in Kruisem.
Cartoons from 83 countries and the 5 continents with Iran and Turkey in the lead
Traditionally, the organizers were again sent cartoons from all over the world. 543 cartoonists, from 83 countries and the 5 continents, submitted their humorous take on the theme 'Future of Mobility: On the way to Cartopia'.

A beautiful cartoon book with 100 of the best works will also be published for the 24th edition of the Euro-kartoenale. This catalog is available at the desk of the European Cartoon Center or in the webshop www.ecc-kruishoutem.be and costs 20 Euro.

Virtual exhibition of cartoons dedicated to Pablo Picasso inaugurated in Brazil

Virtual exhibition of cartoons dedicated to Pablo Picasso inaugurated in Brazil, for the 50th anniversary of his death
With the title of Picasso among us, this is an exhibition that consists of more than 220 works by authors from 35 countries, and is organized by the Association of Cartoonists of Brazil, chaired by José Alberto Lovetro.
In the most varied and enriching ways, just as graphic humor is characterized, with its nourishing, innovative, and provocative virtues, the cartoonists offer us their respective perspectives on the art of painting, where they include portraits of Picasso or reinterpretations of some of his most famous paintings, where the author, in a very personal way, faces a blank canvas. It is all or nothing.
In this link you can see the complete exhibition:
