PARTICIPATION
The organizer of 6th International festival of cartoon Solin 2010 is the city Solin.
1. The festival is opened for everyone regardless of nationality, age, sex, or profesion.
2. THEME: 1) FREE 2) ARCHEOLOGY
3. ENTRIES
Conditions of entry:
1) All entries must be original cartoons. Framed works, also, will not be accepted.
2) Entries can be either black and white or colored.
3) There should be the name, surname and the address on the reverse side of cartoons.
4) Maximum 5 entries will be submitted.
5) Maximum size of entries is A3 format (40x30 cm).
4. DEADLINE
Entry deadline is the 01 August 2010. Please write; PRINTED MATTER - NO VALUE.

8. OTHER CONDITIONS
Authors of works that quality to the exhibition are given a presentation copy of the exhibition catalogue (DVD).
The works will be returned only on the special reqest of an autor. The postage EUR 5 will be paid by autor.
The organizer reserves the right to reproduce the works sent to the festival, Solin 2010, as the advertising material without being obliged to pay a fee to an author whose work may be used.
The prize-winning works become property of the organizer.

International Nasreddin Hodja Cartoon Contest 2010

30th International Nasreddin Hodja Cartoon Contest 2010 - Turkey
The contest is open to all cartoonists all over the world.
The cartoonists are free to participate with already published works as long as these works have not previously been awarded in any other contest.
Choice of subject is free.
The participants may send only one work.
The dimensions of works should not exceed 30 x 40 cm and only originals are accepted.
Name, surname, address, phone number and country of origin of the participant should be written on the back of his/her work. And also a short CV of the participant should be attached.
The works must reach the organizing association not later than August 21, 2010.
The results will be announced on August 31, 2010.
The participating cartoons will be kept at the Cartoon and Humour Museum of Istanbul by the Association of Cartoonists.
The participating cartoons will be put into an album. The cartoons for the album and the exhibition will be selected by a jury. The album will be sent to the cartoonists whose pieces of work are exhibited and published in the album.
Grand Prize: 5000 $
Honour Prizes:5 Honour Prizes, each 1000 $
Special Prizes: Special Prizes offered by various establishments, associations, newspapers, art magazines, syndicates and agencies.

Theme in SMEHANAPA 2010: Chicken or the Egg?

Dear cartoonist!
We invite you to participate in the cartoon contest with theme "chicken or the egg?" to be held in the resort city of Anapa from 1 July to 31 August 2010.
Submissions will be accepted until May 31, 2010
Format: A-4 for the originals or copies of good quality, TIFF or JPEG (300 dpi) for the work in electronic form.

First Annual International Festival of Caricature, North Khorasan Art Center - Iran
Theme: Work and Effort (double effort, double work)
1- Number of cartoons: Max. 5
2- Entry form must be filled and sent besides cartoons, otherwise the artworks will be excluded from the contest.
3- A free copy of published catalogue will be sent to all selected cartoonists.
4- Works should be in JPEG format, 150 DPI and max. 1200 pixel.
