Invitation: Wonderful? Wonder World 2018 cartoon exhibition in Tokyo, Japan

Wonderful? Wonder World 2018
We held the cartoon exhibition ‘Wonderful? Wonder World 2017’ with the great support by cartoonists all over the world. This year we will hold ‘Wonderful? Wonder World 2018’. We would like the cartoonists to participate this exhibition. This exhibition will be open to every professional and amateur. Now there have been a lot of problems around the world, war, refugees, dictator, poverty, unilateralism and so on…. We want to show the images of recent world situation to Japanese people.
・Theme: recent world situation. In principle; without caption and title.
・The exhibition will be held in 3-9 September 2018.
・The cartoon isn’t necessarily new work.
・Maximum 2 cartoons.
・Please attach the information (homeland and name. If you need, you can add your profile).
・All the cartoonists will be introduced on Facebook page with the works.
・If we get so many cartoons, we will exhibit a work by a cartoonist.
・No participation fee required.
・Gallery; Motoazabu gallery, Motoazabu 3-12-3, Minato-ku, Tokyo.
・The works have be sent on internet in over 200 Dpi and Jpeg.

2nd International Seferihisar Cittaslow Cartoon Competition 2018, Turkey

2nd International Seferihisar Cittaslow Cartoon Competition
Subject: Are you among those we couldn’t globalize?
1- The competition is open to all cartoonists.
The cartoons submitted to the competition may have been published before, however they shouldn’t have been awarded in another competition.
3- The drawing style is free. Every cartoonist can join the competition by maximum 5 works. Original cartoons could be posted or digital versions can be sent by e-mail in .jpg format of 300 dpi suitable for printing. We are not responsible for works in different file formats or corrupted files.
4- The original cartoons shall not exceed 30X40 cm dimensions.
5- The applicants shall write down their name, surname, address, country and phone number at the back of the original cartoons. A short CV shall also be attached in the same envelope/e-mail the cartoons posted.
6-The cartoons shall be delivered to the following address before August 10, 2018.

The original cartoons delivered to the committee will not be returned to the applicants. The awarded and non-awarded cartoons could be published and used on cultural occasions by the Municipality. The applicants hereby accept these conditions. The cartoons will be preserved in Seferihisar Anı Evi (House with Cartoons).
The selected works by the jury will be displayed and published in the album.
The award ceremony will be made on September 22, 2018. The awarded and selected cartoons will be displayed in an exhibition in Seferihisar Anı Evi (House with Cartoon) starting at the same day of the award ceremony.
The 1st, 2nd, 3rd prize owners will be granted travel, accommodation and board expenses.

Results of International Cartoon Competition "Don Quichotte against the Unmanned Utopia"

The 24th Utopia Conference will be held in Karaburun (Izmir-TURKEY) on July 3-7th. This year a cartoon competition with the theme "Don Quichotte against the Unmanned Utopia" accompanies to the event. 125 cartoonists from 34 different countries participated in the competition with 312 cartoons.

3rd International Cartoon Contest Kolašin 2018, Montenegro

CONTEST THEME: MOUNTAINS AND SEA / Tourism of Montenegro, skiing and swimming in the same day! You shall send three works which you consider to be the best. Cartoons can previously be published or rewarded and should be creative, funny and amusing. Works have to be graphically convenient for printing on T-shirts. The participants may send a maximum of 3 works to compete. TECHNIQUE: Free. All entries must be sent by e-mail only.
PRIZES:
FIRST PRIZE: 300 Euro, Trophy, Honorable mention and a T-shirt
SECOND PRIZE: 200 Euro, Honorable mention and a T-shirt
THIRD PRIZE: 100 Euro, Honorable mention and a T-shirt
Three special prizes: Honorable mention of the salon.
DEADLINE: 21 July 2018
